Our youth training and play league is the ideal winter experience for middle school and older elementary school lacrosse wanting to train during the winter months.
Each night of lacrosse will feature one hour of training and drills before we play for an added hour of lacrosse. Depending on the number of players in attendance, the second hour of play will either consist of full-field or small-sided games focusing on the skills we worked on that day. Sessions are designed to build every week to help players learn different techniques and in-game situations. This Training and Play League is the perfect for any travel team or rec league player regardless of club affiliation.
Sessions will begin on Sunday, December 13th and run through January 24th with a gap week the weekend of December 27th for the holiday season. All session will be held at Homestead park in Chapel Hill, on Sunday nights, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The cost of our travel league is $150. Players should come equipped with a helmet, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, and a reversible jersey. Our suggested age range is between 4th and 8th grade. Participants without gear can contact carolinahilltoppers@gmail.com, as we have a small amount of gear that can be borrowed.
UPDATE: We are now opening spots for players in the class of 2024 who would like added work as well.
Please note, our program follows strict COVID-19 guidelines that include required masks for every person while they are not playing, temperature checks upon entry to the fields, and social distancing for anyone who is not actively participating. Our program reserves the right to remove anyone from participation at any time, for any reason.
